AIA Grand Rapids is pleased to announce its Board of Directors and Chapter Leadership for the 2026 term, welcoming a mix of returning leaders and new voices from across West Michigan’s architecture, engineering, and construction community.
Doug Campbell, AIA, of Whitewater Design has been elected President for 2026. He will be joined by John Den Boer, AIA, of TowerPinkster, who will serve as Vice President. Anne Doornbos, AIA, also of TowerPinkster, will continue her leadership on the board as Past President.
The chapter is also excited to welcome three new Chapter Directors:

Since its founding in 1923, AIA Grand Rapids has been dedicated to advocating for the value of architecture and supporting architects in their professional growth. As a local component of the American Institute of Architects, the chapter provides educational opportunities, government advocacy, community redevelopment initiatives, and public outreach programs that strengthen both the profession and the communities it serves.
With this new leadership team, AIA Grand Rapids looks forward to another year of collaboration, innovation, and impact across the West Michigan region.
