Paradigm Design (Grand Rapids) is hiring a BIM Manager/Coordinator. This person will oversee the training, development, and implementation of firm wide Building Information Modeling practices and management.

 He or she will also:

  • Manage and maintain company Revit standards, documentation, templates, and libraries
  • Lead the company’s BIM committee using a team approach to determine development needs and priorities
  • Provide Revit training to new hires as well as continuing education to architectural and engineering staff
  • Manage software products including evaluation and implementation of new BIM related technologies
  • Contribute to project production through the use of computational design to prepare architectural and design documents
  • Develop BIM based workflows for improving interdisciplinary collaboration and routine processes
  • Engage in strategic planning, continuous improvement, and research for increased utilization of BIM capabilities

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be an assertive leader with an enthusiasm for using and training Revit
  • Have 5+ years production experience in architectural design, drafting, or engineering
  • Have excellent communication and experience providing direction and initiative to leadership roles
  • Be an Autodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional or advanced Revit user
  • Preferably have knowledge of Revit Add-Ons such as Dynamo, Ideate Software Sticky and Revolution Design Keynote Manager

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Project Coordinator to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, under a Project Manager, you will assist and guide a small team of Technicians through all phases of development to complete projects. You will be responsible for drafting, coordinating drawings, working with Engineers, and ensuring the project package is complete.

Candidates should have the following experience and credentials:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Architecture.
  • 5+ years of related architectural experience.
  • Proven ability to define project specifications, budgets, and schedules, and manage accordingly.
  • Proven experience in construction administration including RFIs, observation trips, processing applications for payment, change orders, and project close-out.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Authorization to work in the US.
