This design involved replacing Bentham’s Riverfront Restaurant, a long-time restaurant located in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. A primary goal was to revitalize this signature property and activate the riverfront outdoor area, which includes a lawn and patio.
This new concept restaurant was brought to life with an open kitchen featuring natural wood, glass, and tile, in addition to a visible wood fire stove for making Wolfgang Puck’s famous pizzas. Custom lighting, sleek metal screens and wine racks create a pleasing contrast from the warm, earthy wood tones.
This upscale-casual restaurant features a dual-level riverfront terrace with seating for about 80 guests, a new riverfront façade, a wine tasting room, new bar, and a new staircase connecting it to downstairs dining areas that can be used for private parties. The entire restaurant accommodates seating for about 230 guests.
