Arnold Mikon, FAIA, targeted architecture as a career from early elementary school. He pursued this dream and received a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Business Administration. Throughout his career, he has had a dramatic influence on architecture in our communities from Comerica Park and Ford Field, to the Woodbridge N. Ferris Building at Kendall College of Art and Design, and numerous YMCAs across Michigan. Under his leadership, TowerPinkster Architects Engineers was named "Best Architecture Firm to Work for in the Nation" (ZweigWhite) and the "2014 AIA Grand Rapids Firm of the Year." His devotion to the industry is also illustrated in his efforts to establish TowerPinkster's endowed scholarships at the University of Michigan, Western Michigan University, Kendall College of Art and Design, and Grand Valley State University. Arnold continues to use his innovative leadership skills to advance the profession of architecture and to encourage emerging professionals.
