2015 Call for Nominations

Each year, your AIA Grand Rapids Board of Directors is faced, as is every organization, with succession--the need to find and develop new leadership. The Board is asking that you seriously consider yourself or others that you think would be particularly well suited to serve on the AIAGR Board by nominating that person. Please contact me if you are interested in serving on the AIA Grand Rapids Board, if you know anyone who would be interested, or if you have any questions.

Michael Belisle has worked for The Design Forum Inc. for 13 years. Despite his years of experience, people still mistake him for being right out of school as he was born with a baby face. Luckily, after 3 children, he is starting to see some wrinkles and his wife has noticed a few gray hairs here and there.

Dan Tyrer is a senior design architect with GMB ae in Holland, MI. Dan was an associate AIA member prior to becoming a licensed architect in the State of Michigan in 2009 and has since been a professional AIA member. In addition to licensure, he is also a LEED Accredited Professional, and has achieved EDAC certification for Evidence-Based Design in healthcare.
