Ben Rambadt is on both the Design and Production teams at TowerPinkster as an Architectural Designer/Graduate Architect in the downtown Grand Rapids, MI office. Ben earned his Masters of Architecture in May 2012 from the University of Michigan. Soon after receiving his master’s degree, Ben married his longtime crush and began working for TowerPinkster out of the Kalamazoo office. In the summer of 2014 Ben and his wife had a son and made the move to Grand Rapids where they plan to call home and continue raising their family; they currently are house shopping. In the fall of 2015 Ben completed all the A.R.E. exams and is currently finishing up his IDP hours and hopes to be licensed by the end of Summer 2016. Ben is an experienced BIM user and helps around the office with Revit questions in addition to design and production work. He recently took his skills in Revit and appreciation for design by becoming an adjunct professor at Kendall College of Art and Design this past semester teaching a Revit course. He never thought teaching would be in the future for him, but admits that teaching has been a very rewarding experience. Ben enjoys biking in to work (even in the rain), taking his son Oliver for a run in the stroller, and family trips to see the butterflies at the gardens. He hopes to develop his career as a future architect by becoming more involved in the community and learning more about his new home here in Grand Rapids.
