Happy Holidays from the Board

Happy Holidays from your AIA Grand Rapids Board! As the year winds down, it is important to reflect on the past year and look forward to the new year! The board has been working hard this past year trying to understand the impact Realignment will have on how we deliver services to you, our membership. As we worked through the summer, we worked with AIA Michigan and other chapters throughout the state to develop a plan of what the AIA will look like in Michigan in the coming years. The rollout will begin in 2016 and we welcome your feedback on how to further refine our path forward.

For our annual Honor Awards Gala, we had many great submissions and a phenomenal turnout for our event which was held in October at the Cheney Place. The response to this event has been very positive and we are already hard at work preparing for next year's event.

As always, we graciously thank our sponsors for the year and look forward to continued partnership in the new year. To you, our membership, we also wish you the best in the upcoming holiday season and new year. Please continue to look to our website and social media sites for updates on upcoming events and opportunities for volunteers.
