Valerio Dewalt Train Associates is the Architect for the new Canopy by Hilton Hotel currently under construction in Grand Rapids adjacent to the piazza in the pending Studio Park project. Dedicated to the pursuit of excellence across all aspects of the field, Valerio is a five-time winner of the National AIA Honor Awards. He lives and breathes great design, winning more than 50 juried awards and having his work featured in over 150 journal articles. His tenure also includes university teaching and research, authoring multiple books, lecturing in the United States and abroad, and guiding the growth of one of the best firms in the country. Other notable projects include: Chicago’s new Art on theMART, Vue53, Gordon Park Arts Hall, Adobe Town Hall, and the Google Tech Corners Campus.
