AIAGR Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Building Tour

Hosted by:  Progressive AE and Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce

The Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce is targeted and focused on a vision to lead the West Michigan business community in creating an exciting, dynamic and growing region. As a champion for West Michigan businesses, the Chamber is in a unique position to leverage place to directly enhance and grow all the ways they are currently delivering value and opportunity to their members and community.

The previous Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce space focused on internal operations and functions with limited environment for relationship building, connecting with members, or providing value through access, programming, and information. The existing space did not emphasize the Chamber’s brand promise and strategic goals for serving its members through Information, Influence and Access. A new space was needed to align, reinforce and strengthen that brand promise.

The Chamber’s new space in the heart of Grand Rapids is a magnet for business activity in West Michigan. Reducing the amount of space dedicated to internal operations and increasing space available to member engagement reflects a distinct commitment towards serving its members.

The environment innovates the Chamber’s delivery of information and public policy impacting member’s and the region’s success strengthening the organization as a source of knowledge. Meetings, training, and events will be hosted adjacent to spaces allowing members to drop in for coffee, socializing, and work alongside other highly influential business leaders in the community.

The Chamber’s staff, services, offerings, and network will be directly accessible and visible, increasing growth and development of members who choose to engage the space. Visibility of the space from the community and the ability of members to use the space for meetings/ networking offers a glimpse into the Chamber’s pledge to improve West Michigan business’ as a recruiting tool for prospective and new members.
