The first hour is an overview of the basic electronic security principles utilized in the industry. The session will focus on the use and application of three areas in the electronic security field: intrusion detection, access control, and video. At the end of the program, participants will understand the basic components utilized in each of the areas and their importance.
The second presentation is on the “Inside Story of Insulated Metal Panels” and why they are an excellent option for building envelope construction. The presentation covers the design basics of IMP’s, current energy code requirements; the influence of air, moisture, thermal and vapor are discussed; and actual project performance details are reviewed. This program will be an interactive session that encourages feedback and questions. One AIA HSW LU will be available for attending this presentation.
